I repaired a. IPad 2 yesterday for a Maple Ridge customer and when I pick it up, they asked me to also look at another one that would not turn on anymore.
I asked about why they believe it no longer turned on and they suggested that it might have gotten wet. I was hopping to repair it but after opening it. I figured there was not hope.
From the pictures below, you can see how it got wet but it also looks like the it was salt water or the battery leaked. I’m not sure what the white residue is but it looks like this one is toast.
