Maple Ridge iPad Repair

Image
Just finished repairing an iPad 2 for a Maple Ridge Customer. The had sustained a couple of drops which resulted in 2 of the corners being damaged as well as the screen being broken. The owner used it for a while after the first drop but after the second drop, pieces of the screen started falling out.  I don't find to fix iPads on front of customers even though they are time consuming but when the corners have dents in them, I'm better equipped to do it at home.  I could not get a clear shot of the before but here is the after shot!

Langley iPhone Speaker replacement

With the iphone glass being one of the common repair I perform, it is certainly not the only service I offer. I often get ask if I can repair sound related issue.  Either be one of the 2 speakers (ear speaker or the main speakerphone) or the microphone.  Tonight is replaced the main speaker on an iPhone 4. The speaker was no longer making any sound at all...  Yesterday I help someone else with their iPhone 4S which had an ear speaker that the sound was just not loud enough.  In both these cases, replacing the speakers solved the problem.  Below is a picture of the typical screen repair. The owner took it out of his OtterBox case over the weekend and his dog knock it down to the ground...

Mission iPhone repair after 1 Ton Truck drives over it

Image
A repeat Mission customer call me to repair his iPhone 5 today after he drove over it with his 1 Ton truck. The phone was left on one of the truck tires and it's owner forgot about and drove away.  The phone was in pretty good shape other than the screen and LCD that was completely smashed. The back frame which is made out of aluminum had very little damage and was not warped or bent. The small case that was on the back of the phone probably same its life.  Here are a few pictures:

Abbotsford iPhone Repair

I repaired 2 iPhones this evening. The first one was an iPhone 3GS screen and the other an iPhone 4 front and back glass. The iPhone 3GS had been dropped by its owner and the 4 was driven over by its owner. I have repaired a few iPhone 4 that were driven over but I continue to be amaze how they seem survive every time. The newer iphone 5 would probably not make it as it is made out of aluminum. The glass back might be prone to brakage on the 4 and 4S but the 5's aluminum back would bend and would have to be replaced.  Here are some before shots of the two phones.  3GS: 4 Front: 4 Back:
